Hundreds of internet customers include joined forces to place Mothe-Chandeniers chateau in France.
By contributing on the least €51 (£45; $61) every, they managed to accumulate €500,000 needed to eradicate the ruined 13th Century fortress.
Every participant is now a co-proprietor of Mothe-Chandeniers, which the win neighborhood plans to revive.
